 2023 IPIS Laboratory Year-end Meeting 

Prof.Paik and IPIS members held a farewell party. It was a place where both graduates and students were together.

  2023 Chung-Ang University LINC 3.0 Festival  

Prof.Paik and IPIS members attended LINC 3.0 Festival at Chung-Ang University in 310 Hall. LINC 3.0 Festival is which aims to revitalize human resource development and corporate support to meet the demands of industry and future society

  2023 Chung-Ang University ICAN-LABs  

The Grand Prize went to the CnG (CnG) team, consisting of Kim and Park, both doctoral students in the Department of Imaging Science, who had the pleasure of winning the Grand Prize with their proposal for "a service that automatically records the defecation status and cycle of pets to analyze their health. The team conducted a hypothesis testing process through interviews utilizing various methods and was highly evaluated for its business results and feasibility.

 2023 Advanced Imaging International Festival

Prof.Paik and IPIS members participated in the Advanced Imaging International Festival (AIIF). We got a great time, starting with Prof. Paik's congratulatory message.

 2023 Chung-Ang University AI Graduate School Symposium  

Prof.Paik and IPIS members ran a enterprise membership exchange meeting booth at Chung-Ang University AI Graduate School in 310 Hall. Researchers from all AI departments participated and had time to introduce research conducted in each laboratory to companies.

Prof. Paik and IPIS members have attended the 2023 Artificial Intelligence Graduate School Symposium on August 17 ~ August 18, 2023 in Seoul, Korea. 

 2023 IEIE summer conference  

Prof. Paik and IPIS members have attended the 2023 IEIE summer conference on June 27 ~ June 30, 2023 in Jeju, Korea. 

 2023 Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Conference

Members of IPIS, Ph.D students Donggoo Kang, Injae Lee, Dasol Jeong and Master Students Yeongheon Mok, Chanyeong Park, Sangwoo Yoon, Jinsol Choi and Prof. Paik attended Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Conference. CVPR is an academic conference in the field of computer vision and pattern recognition hosted by the IEEE. The conference was held in Vancouver, Canada.

To celebration Teacher's Day, Prof. Paik and IPIS members had a celebration with a delicious dinner party

Deep learning-based EEG analysis to classify normal, mild cognitive impairment, and dementia: Algorithms and dataset

By research team where Prof. Paik,  and Prof. Yoon are belonging, using artificial intelligence technology, EEG signals were analyzed and, through this, a high-performance artificial intelligence model that simply diagnosed and classified dementia was created.

The AI graduate school that participated in this study was selected in 2021 for the artificial intelligence graduate school support project conducted by the Ministry of Science and ICT for only 10 universities nationwide.

Congrats graduation IPIS members

Ph.D Students Heegwang Kim, Heunseung Lim and Master Students Injae Lee, Sangwoo Yun, Kunho Kim, Yeongheon Mok, Sunkyu Kwon, and Jinsol Choi have participated in the IEIE International Conference on Electroincs, Information, and Communication (ICEIC 2023). they presented their research at the Shangri-La Singapore, Singapore. 

At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world's largest ICT event hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) in 2023, under the leadership of Prof, Paik, a ‘Intelligent video analysis system combined with multi-camera system' booth participated by about 30 members including professors and graduate students in the field of ai was exhibited at the K-STARTUP booth and received great attention from many corporate officials.
