• Prof. Paik and IPIS members have attended the 2019 IEIE fall conference on November 21 ~ 22, 2019 in Gangneung, Korea. Internship student  youngwook Kang won Best student Paper Award.

• IPIS members had a 2019 year-end party on November 29.  

• IPIS members participated in Autumn Annual Conference of IEIE, 2019 and climbed sorak national park. The picture was taken at Geumgang-cave.

• Art&Technology Exhibition has been held on November 11-14. IPIS members have exhibited their works. It is only a meaningful event where students voluntarily plan and submit their research results and works. Also, a professor worked hard to help students produce good works. 

IPIS Laboratory is inviting application in Spring 2020. IPIS's main research is image enhancement, restoration, computational photography, optical simulation, auto focusing,  3D image and video synthesis, video analysis, video tracking, object detection and action recognition. Liu TingTing received an MS degree from the graduate school of advanced imaging science, multimedia, and film at Chung-Ang University on 21 August 2019. Prof. Paik and IPIS members celebrated her graduation.  

IPIS members celebrated Prof. Paik's birthday. Congratulations! 

Prof. Paik and IPIS members have attended the 2019 IEIE summer conference on June 25 ~ June 28, 2019 in Jeju Island, Korea. Some of IPIS members also made their papers public at the conference.  Master students Hyunwoo Kim and Jinsol Ha won Industry-Interesting Paper Award(Naver) and Mater Student Sohee Lim and Internship Student Woojung Jin won Best Paper Award.

IPIS member went to summer Membership Training on June 25 ~ June 28, 2018 in Jeju Island, Korea.

IPIS members delivered flowers to Prof. Paik to  celebrate Teacher's Day. 

Xufeng Ma,PhD student, won the SICAF Choice section of the international animation film festival.  Title is "Tears of god" and he was a producer. Congratulation!

Younghoon Lim received an Ph.D. degree and Joongchol Shin, Kwanwoo Park, Minwoo Shin, Minjung Lee, Cao Hang, BinZhou Fang received an MS degree from the graduate school of advanced imaging science, multimedia, and film at Chung-Ang University on 20 Wednesday 2019. Prof. Paik and IPIS members celebrated their graduation.  

Prof. Paik, Jung Sup Shin, Nakeun Choi, and Changeui Son have participated in the IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics (ICCE 2019). They presented their research at the conference and studied the state-of-the-art techniques in the fields of consumer electronics.  

A new year begins in 2019, and preliminary freshmen come to the IPIS lab from today.IPIS members have had a New Year`s celebration dinner and welcomed new students.
