A special session of IPIS was held at IEIE 2020 in Lotte Hotel Jeju.

Postdoctoral researchers Young-hoon Lim and Yoon-ji Cho were selected for Creative Challenge Research-based Project supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) in 2020. (link)

Hyunwoo Kim presented a poster paper entitled "Pre-Activated 3D CNN and Feature Pyramid Network for Traffic Accident Detection " at IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics (ICCE 2020). Mr. Kim's paper was selected as the 2nd place of best poster videos selected by ICCE TCE members.

• • At the winter seminar from January to February, Yeong-heon Mok, Min-yeo Kim, and Hyeong-seok Choi received the best student award.

• • The organization chart of the 2020 - 1st semester IPIS members.

• • IPIS members Jinsol Ha, Dasol Jeong, Joongchol Shin, Donggoo Kang have participated ICEIC 2020 in Barcelona Spain. They presented their research at the conference and studied the state-of-the-art techniques in the fields of Computer Vision and Image Processing.
